The Turf Byrd's started a PPC Ad campaign with adwords and received great results overnight. One campaign and two ads received over 14,000 impressions and 28 clicks that resulted in $12.56 worth of PPC advertising costs. Granted this was in about a 10 hr period of time.
Keywords are a big factor as well as writing good ad content. I have read that it is wise to have the ad content be relevant to the URL. So the URL should be in the main subject line of the ad as well as one of the two lines beneath the main subject ad line.
Find out what words are identified in the search that are relevant to your ad and use those as your keywords. Make sure that your bid is within your budget. Some keywords can be rather expensive when paying for clicks to your web site. Do your due diligence and use all of the free tools that google has to offer. Make use of the advertising dollars that come in the mail. Every little bit helps and if google is so rich they can give away advertising dollars then I say scoop up on all the free stuff available.
By all means don't let the internet intimidate you from reaching any of your PPC advertising goals. The more stuff that you have out there on the internet the better chances that your business will get seen and used. One thing for sure is that you will never know what you can do until you do it. The thought maybe there but until it is applied it is only just a thought. Action does speak louder than words and knowledge is useless unless it is applied. Responsibility is bigger than it is spelled.
